Terry Compton

Terry Compton has taught English as a Second Language for over 15 years at the university, college, and community levels. She brings to this vocation lessons learned from her own successes and failures as a second language learner as well as experience gained in the corporate world, notably in public relations and advertising. Her volunteer and paid work with internationally educated professionals is informed by a tremendous respect and admiration for those with the courage and stamina to start over in Canada, and it is her great pleasure to help them negotiate the subtle and often unspoken rules of Canadian and global business culture.
